In the automotive manufacturing industry, the trend towards lightweight construction continues, with the increasing development of high-strength aluminium alloys, that are constantly finding new application areas. Even in engine technology, these materials have replaced steel in many processes. The heat treatment equipment required for this purpose must meet the high standards of automotive production. Demands for shorter cycle times and high process reliability are high. The ever-increasing demands on quality assurance and traceability must also be integrated into all heat treatment processes.
