UC Rusal and Energoprom Group, a Russian company specialized in carbon and graphite production, have signed of a five-year contract for the supply of cathode blocks in the total volume of 21,500 tpy. From 2018 to 2022 Energoprom will cover up to 70% of the total demand for coal-graphite raw materials of Rusal's smelters. The products will be shipped from the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant - the largest electrode production in Russia.
