There is no part of the world without the risk of sudden surprise actions that could affect world trade. However, East Asia seems to house the biggest bag full of surprises. Severe tensions between North Korea and the United States are simmering since the Korean War ended in 1953 with just a truce, which was never replaced by any kind of peace treaty. Currently, this age-old conflict flares up because both countries are headed by hot heads at the same time.
