Presezzi Extrusion – Further steps for saving energy

In the September issue of this journal we have already reported the measures adopted by the Italian manufacturer of extrusion lines, Presezzi Extrusion, for reducing energy consumption in the operation of its extrusion presses. As a supplier of complete plants for the extrusion industry, one of the company’s objectives is also to design the equipment ahead of and behind the extrusion press so that it achieves optimum operating conditions with the lowest possible energy utilization. In that context Presezzi achieves particularly significant examples and successes in the sector of melting and billet heating.
