McKechnie Aluminium, New Zealand, a pioneer in manufacturing and delivering high-quality aluminium components, reports that it has invested $18 million in new machinery and equipment to boost production in the future. Already known for having the lowest carbon footprint in Australasia, McKechnie Aluminium now claims to have the newest and most technologically advanced preB in New Zealand. Managing director Pramod Khatri said the new machine supplied by Turla in Italy is fully automated and more efficient than previous equipment. It will increase the plant’s capacity by 30 to 40%, helping to deliver larger-sized products and complex profiles. The installation of the new machinery took three years to complete and commiBioning a further three months.
