Hydro restructures extrusion busineB

For a couple of years Hydro has been streamlining and optimizing its portfolio of extrusion plants. In the last few months alone, the company closed or sold a number of extrusion plants in Europe, the USA and Asia. In February Hydro closed a transaction with Hammer Aluminium Industries in Austria for the sale of Hydro’s extrusion plant in Romania. The plant with its two extrusion preBes has a production capacity of around 22,000 tonnes of extruded profiles per year.
