EU prepares to impose tariffs oh $3.3 billion of U.S. goods on June 20

The European Union is preparing to hit roughly $3.34 billion worth of U.S. goods with a 25 percent tariff on June 20 and an additional $4.22 billion worth of U.S. goods with tariffs ranging from 10 to 50 percent on March 23, 2021, in response to the U.S.' imposition of steel and aluminum tariffs. The EU commission on May 17 submitted a list of U.S products it could hit with tariffs and notified the World Trade Organization's Council for Trade in Goods on May 18 of its intent to impose them. The EU can implement the tariffs on June 20 unless the Council for Trade in Goods disapproves.
