EU requests new consultations in bid to prove compliance in Airbus fight

The European Union has made a second request for consultations with the United States over EU compliance with World Trade Organization rulings against subsidies it and some of its member states provided Airbus, notifying the WTO just days after the United Stales rejected the EU's claim that it had complied with an Appellate Body compliance report issued earlier this month.
