摘要

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation trade ministers this week committed to facilitate the flow of essential goods and services amid the coronavirus pandemic, pledging as well to ensure "trading links" remain open and to strengthen the group's digital trade agenda. The trade ministers' May 5 joint statement is one of many issued recently by multinational organizations in reaction to the global public health crisis. APEC consists of 21 members, including the U.S. and China.
