Trump urges Congress to pass USMCA; Mexico, Canada advance ratification

Mexico and Canada on Tuesday moved forward with the ratification of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement as President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence called on Congress to do the same. The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative on May 30 sent Congress a draft statement of administrative action for USMCA. An implementing bill for the deal can't be sent to Capitol Hill for lawmakers to review until July 9, per Trade Promotion Authority rules.
