A high-level Mexican delegation next week will travel to the U.S. for an official "work visit" and commemoration of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement's entry into force, Mexican Foreign Affairs Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Tuesday. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador foreshadowed the trip last week. Ebrard, in a June 30 tweet, said the visit would take place July 8-9. During a July 1 press conference, Ebrard said Mexico received the official invite from the U.S. on June 30 and that details were still being worked out. He added that meetings on July 8 would be bilateral, while discussions on July 9 would focus on "matters of the trilateral agenda."
