California research tool visualizes working women's chemical exposures

The tool shows data on 1,000 chemicals of concern and is based on data for 6.5 million working women in 160 different occupations in California. It will serve as a first step toward better understanding breast cancer risks associated with occupational chemical exposures, the CBCRP says. Researchers will be able to use the data collected to identify the potential scope of the problem, characterize the populations most affected, and guide future research.
