Canadian survey favors mandatory labeling of GM foods

The Consumers' Association of Canada (CAC),based in Ottawa,Ontario,on December 3 released the results of its national poll on the labeling of genetically modified (GM) foods.Particular details were that 80% of Canadians do not consider that the government of Canada has provided adequate information about GM foods and that 88% want the mandatory labeling of GM foods.
