EAs already reported, the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) invited proposals for the research priority "Adhesives and binders" in 2014 within the framework of its funding programme "Renewable raw materials". The objective was to find innovative proposals for converting the formulations of industrial and household adhesives to renewable raw materials. In the meantime, almost ?6.7 million has been granted for 12 consortia by FNR (Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstof-fe e. V.), the central coordinating institution for renewable raw materials. Other research consortia will follow in 2016 and will start working.
