Interfacial tension measurement with a wide range

The Spinning Drop Tensiometer (SDT) from Kruss is suitable for measuring interfacial and surface tension with high precision and in an extremely wide range. Due to its bandwidth, small sample volumes and simple handling during preparation, the SDT is the ideal solution for the quality control and development of emulsions and surfactants. With the spinning drop method, measurement of the interfacial tension is carried out by analysing the video image of a drop surrounded by fluid in a rotating capillary.
