Fertiliser outlook: Oversupplied and under-priced

The prospect of oversupply of potash and phosphate-based fertilizers - despite price increases at the start of 2018 - is keeping competition fierce between producers. In the fourth quarter of 2017, the World Bank noted "continued oversupply conditions amid weak demand are contributing to the downward pressure on prices" despite a 25% increase in Chinese potash imports.
