A new locality record tor Ludwigia decurrens Walter (Onagraceae) in .Jharkhand, India

Ludwigia decurrens Walter, a native of New World hitherto known to occur in Assam and West Bengal is reported here from Koderma Wildlife Sanctuary of Jharkhand state. The cosmopolitan genus Ludwigia L., represented by c. 82 species (Mabberley, 2017),is mostly concentrated in the tropical American region. In India, the genus is represented by 7 species and one infraspecific taxon (Paul, 2001; Barua, 2010). They are herbaceous floating to woody and erect plants, usually found in freshwater wet localities.
