摘要

The extension of a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) with a high-pressure mercury lamp or LED lamp offers the possibility to investigate light-curing adhesive systems with regard to their heat transformation during exothermal curing reactions. The objective is to optimize the UV curing of, for example, dual-cured adhesives by means of controlling the intensity of UV light at a precisely controlled temperature.So far, however, the quality and reproducibility of the measurement results have often been poor due to the limited capabilities of the measuring device. Additionally, when applying this technique, a competitive reaction with oxygen may overlap the pure UV curing reaction.
