摘要

In the present study, isoniazid, thiazole and 1,3,5-triazine moieties have been clubbed in one frame work to synthesize a new series of ethyl 2-(4-(2-isonicotinoylhydrazinyl)-6-(arylamino)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylates 3a-n. The newly synthesized compounds have been screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activity. Compounds 3a, 3c, 3d and 31 have exhibited significant antimicrobial activity on several strains of microbes. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been elucidated by IR, H-1 and C-13 NMR, and mass spectral analysis.
