Improving Productivity of Zinc Sulphate and Micronutrient Mixture Plant at APFL

After commissioning the zinc sulphate mono/hepta hydrate plant, many problems were faced which were overcome through in house innovations. This paper describes the operation and maintenance practices adopted by APFL for the improving reliability and efficiency of operation. The steps are critically evaluated while deciding the inspection methodology of the equipment. It has also helped in running the plant smoothly without interruption and ultimately resulting in increasing the productivity of the plant.
