摘要

The effects of 2,4-D and the frequency of application on pre harvest fruit drop and quality of Kinnow mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) at 10 and 20 ppm at monthly intervals, 1" September, 1*1, October and ^November was evaluated. Exogenous application of growth regulators significantly decreased pre harvest fruit drop percentage leading to increase in total number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, juice percentage, total soluble solids, acidity, vitamin C, reducing sugars and non reducing sugarspercentage. Based on physical and bio chemical parameters 2,4-D at 20 thrice on 151 of September, October and November was most effective in checking the fruit drop and improving fruit quality and yield of Kinnow mandarin.
