Applications of Power Electronics in Electrical Systems

Punjab & Chandigarh State Centre of the Institution in association with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Baba Banda Singh BahadurEngineering College (BBSBEC), Fatehgarh Sahib organized All India Workshop on 'Applications of Power Electronics in Electrical Systems' under the aegis of Electrical Engineering Division Board of IEI during January 15-16, 2019 at Chandigarh. Dr Kalaiselvi J, Assistant Professor, IIT Ropar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Kalaiselvi, in his address enlightened about the applications of power electronics, motion control of motors, energy conversion and the application of power converters in the field of electrical systems.
