Chinese demand for the main oil products (fuel oil, gasoil, kerosene, gasoline, naphtha and LPG) is in practice, based on refinery production reported by China National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and net import data reported by customs authorities, as well as stock changes when available. Total demand is computed as refinery runs, representing total production, plus net product imports.
