MinSocWA field trip to the DeGrussa copper mine, Western Australia

On Friday 7 September 2018, fifteen members of the Mineralogical Society of WA were treated to an exceptionally good tour of the DeGrussa copper mine at the Doolgunna Project Area, owned and operated by Sandfire Resources. DeGrussa is approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and is one of the Asia-Pacific region's premier, high-grade copper mines and the largest copper producer in Western Australia.
