AN interactive, online tool has been developed that predicts when adult citrus gall wasps are likely to emerge from the galls and when the eggs laid by the current season wasps are likely to hatch. Call wasp adult emergence and egg hatching data collected across five seasons from the Sunraysia and Riverina regions were used to develop the tool.To use the tool, growers simply select a weather station from a dropdown list and the prediction results will display. Three panels of prediction results are presented. The 'Current status' panel shows the progression of total degree-days to-date towardthe target degree-days when peak adult emergence occurs. The 'Predicted dates' panel shows the predicted dates of adult emergence and egg hatching in the current season. The 'Previous records' panel shows the recorded dates of adult emergence and egg hatching in previous years.
