South African ex-pat Rob Cragg is well on his way to living his dream in picturesque McLaren Vale. Cragg grew up with industry influences; his parents own Rumbalara Estate Wines in Queensland's Granite Belt, so perhaps it was inevitable he would be swayed, while forging his own path.Cragg's winemaking journey began in high school; in years 11 and 12 he studied wine two days a week, undertaking an apprenticeship in winemaking at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism.
