摘要

SOUTH BEND, IN - A building where Studebaker automobiles were assembled decades ago is now home to a school dedicated to the future of manufacturing. The sprawling structure has been transformed into a technology park that includes the Purdue Polytechnical High School. The building has been sitting vacant since the last vehicle rolled off the Studebaker assembly line in 1963. This fall, 125 ninth-grade students will study in the facility. The charter school will add a grade level each year until it eventually enrolls 600 students.
