A fully automated film wrapper for timber packs, software solutions for optimising the spinning of logs, and analyses of bottlenecks and breakdowns in the handling and conveying of lumber - these are just some examples of the full range of sawmill technology that will be on display from May 27-31 in Hall 25 at LIGNA in Hannover. The focus here is on high-tech applications for the handling and conversion of timber, aimed at making the whole process more efficient and speedy, while simultaneously minimising waste.
