China's Textile & Apparel Industries in 2019

According to an overview of the Chinese textile and apparel industries in 2019,as compiled by the China National Textile and Apparel Council,2019 was a tough year,as domestic apparel retail sales grew at a significantly slower rate and total profits (gross profits)fell by more than 10%.According to a survey by the China National Bureau of Statistics,the utilization rates in the textile industry (excluding man-made fibers and apparel)and man-made fiber industry were 78.4% and 83.2%,respectively.It exceeded 76.6% for all industries.
