The Japan Textile Evaluation Technology Council (JTETC), which certifies the functionality of functional textile products, is examining concrete plans for newly adding an SEK Mark for ultraviolet shielding finished products. A committee for preparing the creation of the mark has been set up, and discussions have started with the committee holding its first meeting recently.
