The first Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo was held from October 31 to November 9.It was a challenge to strongly send Japanese fashion to the world by simultaneously holding business negotiations of Japanese excellent fabrics in addition to the reformed Tokyo Collection in a concentrated short period.A member of the executive committee says,"We have succeeded in creating the base of JFW in Tokyo and want to establish this structure with the coming exhibition to be held from March 20 by resolving clarified subjects."
