Forest products manufacturers, woodlands operators, researchers, and other forestry sector stakeholders gathered at the Montreal Wood Convention in late March, amidst an increasingly bullish market environment. "The Canadian economy is running near capacity," said Paul Quinn, a paper and forest products analyst at RBC Dominion Securities. "Housing demand remains strong, and we expect that to continue. That applies to the U.S. as well."
