Land ownership dream fulfilled:At Glarro Farm, forestry operations bring personal satisfaction

Geraline and Andre Van Agten emigrated from the Netherlands in 1981, and 10 years later they purchased a farm property in Fawcett Hill, north of Petitcodiac, N.B. Since then they have acquired more land, and they currently own a total of 534 acres, of which about two-thirds is wooded. In recognition of their stewardship practices, the Van Agtens were named SNB (Southern New Brunswick) Woodlot Owner of the Year for 2019.
