New synonym, combination and faunistic records in the rare Asian genus Gnorimotrichius Krajcik, 2009 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae)

A taxonomic review of the Asian genus Gnorimotrichius Krajcik, 2009 is presented. Diagnosis of the genus is given. Five species are recognized in this genus, including Gnorimotrichius masumotoi Fujioka, 2011 n. comb. from Vietnam. Gnorimotrichius dolezali Krajcik, 2009 n. syn. is synonymized with Trichius trilineatus Ma, 1992, within the genus Gnorimotrichius. Description and key are given for the genus, and illustrations of habitus and male genitalia are provided for all species. Females of G. signatus (Chujo, 1940) and G. tronqueti (Antoine, 2002) are reported for the first time. Geographic distribution of each species is summarized, and the distribution range of G. tronqueti is significantly expanded. The ecological notes of G. tronqueti are also documented.
