Automotive sector shows improvement

Indian automotive glass industry got some respite from the positive numbers of automotive sales in the month of August after a hiatus of nine months. Passenger vehicle wholesales in the country rose by 14.16 per cent in August to 2,15,916 units driven by pent-up demand, according to the data released by industry body SIAM.
