UK prices frm on slow LNG import forecast

UK NBP prompt and near-curve markets rose in the second half of September on forecasts for slightly below-average temperatures in London over October and slow UK LNG imports this winter. The UK is expected to have ample spare supply in excess of domestic consump- tion - including exports to Ireland - early this winter, with strong UK offshore production and imports from Norway. But temperatures holding below the seasonal norm could limit the gas that will have to be offoaded into mid-range storage or to the continent.
