1.US natural gas futures tumbled in November on expectations that high produc- tion would keep the market well supplied this winter. 2.Prompt-month natural gas prices settled on 29 November at $2.281/mn Btu, down by 35.2c/mn Btu, or 13pc, from 31 October. Prices reached a peak during the month on 5 November - settling at $2.862/mn Btu - following forecasts for a bout of frigid weather. But prices retreated from those levels as temperatures climbed and forecasts were revised, showing a mild start to December.
