Petronas eyes frst-half 2020 start-up for PFLNG 2

Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas is on track to start its second foating LNG (FLNG) platform - the 1.5mn t/yr PFLNG 2 - in the frst half of 2020, chief ex- ecutive Wan Zulkifee said at the LNG2019 conference in Shanghai on 2 April. The expected start-up of PFLNG 2 next year will come four years after Petronas loaded its frst cargo from the frst foating LNG facility in April 2016 and around two years later than its original targeted start-up date of 2018.
