Equatorial Guinea open to lukoil supplying lNG plant

Equatorial Guinea is in talks with Russian independent Lukoil about the potential supply of natural gas from ofshore block 27 to the 3.7mn t/yr Equatorial Guinea LNG (EG LNG) plant on Bioko island. Lukoil was awarded the rights to develop block 27 - previously known as block R - in an upstream oil and gas licensing round on 26 November.
