Proposed renaming of bunker price assessments

Global marine fuel regulations require that from 1 January 2020, the sulphur content of bunkers be capped at a maximum 0.5pc, down from 3.5pc. Argus proposes to rename its residual fuel oil and marine gasoil bunkers price assessment data series used on Argus Direct and for other electronic delivery mechanisms to provide more detailed information about the sulphur content, viscosity, location and mode of delivery, and to introduce a standard naming convention across marine fuel prices.
