1.NBP prompt prices eased as UK LNG sendout stepped up from the second half of the winter.But rising emissions prices offered support as they raised the level at which gas would remain competitive in the European power mix.The front-year ETS contract reached a more than 10-year high in mid-April,allowing for an increase in northwest European prompt and near-curve prices,without gas changing its place in the power sector merit order.
