Italy to discuss Tap project

Italy’s government will review its support of the 10bn m~3/yr Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (Tap) natural gas project, but no final decision on the link has been made. The Tap project looks 'pointless', given the decline in Italian gas consumption, environment minister Sergio Costa says. The environment ministry will analyse the project with strong priority, he said.
