After the devastating Atlantic hurricane season of 2017 we resolved to publish an issue on building and infrastructure resilience once the hurricane season started up again. The subject is as newsworthy today as it was in the late summer of last year. While the media has moved on to other news, millions in affected areas continue to struggle with damage to their homes, roads, public buildings, and power grids.
