摘要

The incorporation of AMPS salts into polymers can provide polymer dispersions with a variety of benefits including: ·Reduced emulsifier level; · reduced foaming; ·improved mechanical stability; ·improved adhesion and adhesion retention; ·improved divalent ion stability; ·and improved pH stability range Many of these same benefits can be obtained by the use of separate AMPS containing homopolymers or copolymers. The preparation of difunctional AMPS derivatives may make it possible to extend these benefits to other polymer Systems such as polyurethanes and polyesters.
