Malaysia’s Perdana Petroleum has won an umbrella contract from state-owned compatriot Petronas to provide offshore support vessel services. Perdana’s subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB) will undertake the workload, which calls for the charter of six units of Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels and five Accommodation Work Barges (AWBs). PNSB said the umbrella contract is on a call out basis for a duration of three years with an extension option of another one year plus one year. PNSB will provide the AHTS and AWBs vessels with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24- hour services for assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installation, towing and anchor jobs.
