Skyland bags Siberia block

Australia-listed Skyland Petroleum has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with “a private Russian company” to buy a 100% stake in a subsidiary holding the producing oil and gas Sakha Licence in Sakha (Yakutia), Eastern Siberia. The Sakha Licence covers an area of 2,452sq km and holds four discovered oil and gas fields - one of which is on pilot production with oil sales within the region - several exploration discoveries and additional exploration targets, Skyland said.
