Australian players Beach Energy and Bridgeport Energy have landed two gas exploration permits offshore Australia. Minister for Resources Jaclyn Symes said that permits have been granted to Beach Energy and Bridgeport Energy to explore for gas in state waters near Portland and Port Campbell.
