The firing methods deployed in sanitaryware manufacture have a major influence on the cost- efficiency of a factory?s productivity. This has prompted manufacturers in the countries of South and Southeast Asia to go for flexible fast firing and making use of available new technologies as the high cost of energy has become frustrating to many energy intensive ceramic sanitaryware factories. This is especially the case in the leading ceramic manufacturing regional countries, such as, Indonesia, India and Thailand.
