AB 3187 points the way forward for RNG development

SACRAMENTO-Gov. Jerry Brown recently signed the RNG Coalition-sponsored Assembly Bill 3187. The bill, which amends Section 784.2 of the Public Utilities Code relating to gas corporations, requires the California Public Utilities Commission to open a proceeding by no later than July 1, 2019, to consider, among other points, funding biomethane interconnection infrastructure through a gas corporation's utility rates.
