Chinese state-controlled trading firm Unipec is shipping another 270,000t (1.97mn bl) of Baltic Urals to China, and a fifth cargo should follow soon. The very large crude carrier (VLCC) Olympic Leopard departed from offshore Southwold on the UK east coast for China’s Qingdao port on 1 September. The vessel is carrying Baltic Urals loaded by ship-to-ship transfer from the Aframax tankers Pelagos, Montego, Alicante and Front Lynx.
